Lego for the 21st Century

Lego has been mentioned infrequently on the blog and its been mooted as to whether the 'new' parts are too far removed from traditional Lego. Personally, I find the new super modified bits to be extremely useful for building special models and pro builders (which, incidentally don't number me in the group!) can do amazing things with modern Lego.
