Gerry Anderson New Year UK Stamps

With the news having been broken at Fanderson's TV21 con, it now comes to the blog: the UK Royal Mail will be launching a series of Gerry Anderson stamps on  January 11th 2011. You can keep up to date at the Royal Mail here and get some background at Fanderson. By Gum, they're Thunderstamped!

  1. Sure, the enevlope can take all the stamps evenly distributed ... but can it take them in one solid mass?

    OK, which episode, guys?

  9. Ahhh, you'll see, Woodsy. Might be more to these stamps than you think ^_^

I'd tell you, but then I'd have to kill you, so ...

  11. Well, I guess you need to ask yourself, how desperate are you to have me kill you?

  12. Even though curiosity killed the cat I don't fancy death by Toad! I can wait!

  13. Good call, Woodsy. Death by Toad is not pretty. Plus it tends to be fatal, resulting in ... well ... erm ... death.

  14. I would refer my learned friends to Exhibit A (click on my name), and read the blog of designers GBH: http://gregorybonnerhale.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

    The defence rests.

  15. Ipso Facto, Shaqui's cool! That's a great coup Shaqui! Wow, what a superb thing to work on! Did you get to meet the whole team - Gerry Embleton et al? The story about flying him in from Switzerland was the stuff of James Bond! Or should I say Thunderbirds!

Where are the credits of all the designers? Like your good self?Couldn't find 'em.

  16. Credits are in tiny, tiny lettering at the side.

  17. It all looks truly fantastic. And there's a Royal Mint medal too. It's going to fly like hot cakes!

  18. Before anyone gets too excited, I was only peripheral to events. But was credited on one item, all the same. (Thanks to Stephen La Riviere)

  19. Well done Shaqui! Can't wait to see them. I like Steven's book a lot so the comic should be good as well.
