Woodsy Gets To Fly Task Force 2 !


Well, Woody [Woodpecker] actually but I love the animation! Wonder if the guys at Century 21 saw this at the Flicks or on TV when it first came out?

    actually it is from the film Destination Moon (1950). It was a short cartoon trying to convince investors to fund a Moon rocket.

    So that's who the guys are John! Great cartoon. Wonder if it worked?I'd be amazed if the Task Force 2 design wasn't influenced by the V2-esque rocket in Destination Moon. Like the Yonezawa tin Moon Ship. Looks like Century 21 just added the external engines.
