Ferryman's Fantastic Plastic Space Toys

Hi Woodsy,
I've attached some pics:
  • The Space Car from a few angles. I took this apart, removed the excess glue from the clear domes and sorted out all of the seams to reduce the gaps.
  • The SpaceX LT-10 that I restored using ref and a mould made by WOTAN. The rear end is a quick fix until I have time to create a more accurate version.
  • An HK hydroplane that I've not come across before. I made the battery hatches for this.
Feel free to use these on the blog.

  1. Woo and Hoo, Ferryman. Nice work on that restoration!

Wote, a question for you: how did you make that mould for Ferryman?

  2. Loving that space car - a thing of beauty.

LT10 - Ferryman asked me to creat a mould for the forward silver ring/collar by taking the part from my complete version and simply pressing it into a piece of Fimo. This was then set in an oven and then he filled the mould with Milliput and trimmed up the resultant cast. Simple, but very effective!
