For Tarheelheads like me there's some goodies on the 'Bay at the mo. My pockets are empty but you may want to take a peek! There's a couple of more commonplace plastic toys with low start prices Tarheel Chest-Gun Robot and a Tarheel Probe Force 1. More unusual and nothing to do with space I'm afraid [no sewing machines, sorry,WOTAN!] are the following:
Fire Truck
The Tarheel 'T' is clearly visible on the sides. Unusually for them the toy is tin and made in Japan. In poor state of repair and very pricey. Anyone got a good boxed example?
Ebay description: "TRUCK IS ABOUT 16" FRONT TO BACK. THERE IS A BATTERY COMPARTMENT ON THE BOTTOM FOR 3 "D" CELL BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED. I COULD NOT GET IT TO DO ANYTHING. THERE IS A PIECE THAT WENT ON THE REAR SIDE OF THE TRUCK THAT HAS RUSTED OFF AND IS INCLUDED. THE BOTTOM IS PLASTIC AND HAS A SWIVEL WHEEL IN THE MIDDLE. THERE IS ALSO A RED PLASTIC LIGHT LENS ON THE TOP."

By chance there are two of these "Johnny Tarheel" plastic toys up for auction. 11 inches long and made in 'British Crown Colony of Hong Kong'. Can't see a logo. Anyone got one of these?
