  4. Given that the originals are all so expensive or rare or both! I'm seriously considering making my own XL5, anyone know where there are decent 1:76/72 or 1:48 scale plans?

Thanks they'll do nicely for a start and I've already had ideas for Vac-forming the main canopy, top turret should come from an old bomber kit at a car-boot and the rear bit will come from a bottle top or two and - if I'm cleaver I should be able to make junior detachable with the turret locking mechanism of a small scale tank kit, sinking a couple of railway passenger car corridor connectors to make a two-way air-lock?

    Ha-ha, lucky I'm putting the roof on my future workshop tomorrow!
