LIFE ON TITAN?

I am totally entralled by NASA's theorising that there maybe rudimentary life on Saturn's Moon, Titan, a form of acetalyne-feeding micro-organism. The thought of life on another world is entrancing and frightening at the same time. If confirmed, for me it would be the most important event in history.

  1. Some of us still remember NASA's 'discovery' of life on mars. Ho hum ...

  3. I always loved space things from when I was very young and one year (I must have been about 8 or 9) my sister got me a Birthday card with a wonderful picture of Saturn on the front, as seen from Titan.
The picture had a couple of astronauts on the surface of Titan and the ringed planet loomed up in the distance.
On the back of the card it had a little bit about Titan, mentioning its atmosphere and the possibility of life there.
I loved that card and have searched endlessly for the picture online.

The original was a painting and a very detailed and eyecatching one. I have no doubt it was by one of the accomplished space artists and have always wondered if I will come upon it again.
Why I lost that card, heaven knows. I could kick myself every time I think of it.
