FLOWER POWER

The flower motif on this vintage plastic Beach Buggy [Ebay] appeared on a number of Sixties toys including the rear of the Day-f-ran SPACE GLIDER shown below. Anyone know of any more? Where is the motif from? Sixties' Hippydom?

  1. Like, man, it's the symbol of Flower Power, yeah? Non-violence and counterculture. You had to ask that? Like, far out, man. Violence is like, such a drag. Hang loose and be groovy, Woodstock, baby, and wear that flower in your hair

Gotta peace out now man, ya dig?

  2. I associate mod more with the lambretta red and blue circles made famous by the Who.
