What a great story! I've just been to Germany and couldn't find a thing by way of old toys and models! Congrats on your great Ebay result! Where on earth did you find it for 1 Euro?
I should add that it's not mine. It was on eBay.fr a couple of weeks ago for a stupendous amount of money despite being started.

That kit is a thing of beauty. It may not have the astounding coolness of MIDORI's Moguras kits, but it's still awesome.
