Whilst away over Easter frolicking in the wonderful North Yorkshire Moors National Park and WOTAN was posting his fabulous bloglets (just caught up with them all), a few odds'n'sods were left in my in-tray. Supercollector Terry Harle sent in this fantastic shot of his 1960's Captain Scarlet Plasticine by HARBUTTS. I love the SPV and MSV moulds! Such a shame they never did a SWORD set. Still we can console ourselves with the previously blogged Zero-X plasticine mould. Yummy. There's an interesting history of Harbutt's online. And only yesterday I saw that they had supplied the plasticine for fellow Prestonian Nick Park's classic debut Wallace and Gromet film 'A Grand Day Out'! Now that's pedigree!
Forget plasticine. The way to use these moulds is to thoroughly clean them, and use them to make miniature jellies!
