For the past year or so I've been watching with increasing excitement the gradual recreation of a series of Thunderbirds Fire Tenders from scratch by the young super-talented modeller Mike Delamar. the action has been taking place on the excellent Space 1999 Eagle Forum (now with a new owner!). Mike's nearing completion of one of the vehicles as you can see in the stunning picture below or you can check the Forum here:
This particular model has, at it's heart a 1960's amphibious toy car, which I covered on the Century 21 'overspill' blog here.
Mike still has some missing kit parts, which he can't identify. Maybe readers know what they are? Have a look here. You can let me know or tell Mike on the 1999 Forum.

I know it just can't be, but that "unidentified block" looks rather like a couple of 2-brick Pennybrix with something sandwiched between them.
