  1. I do like your picture - very atmospheric. But I am worried by this dark trend your mind has taken lately Woodsy ^_^

  2. No need to worry PT but thank you for the thought. Too much Winter and not enough Sun. Spring is round the corner -Yippee- and I'll be a happy boy again!

  3. ^_^

Glad to hear it, Woodsy. But it's the opposite for me - I come alive in winter, and am dreading the return of non-stop hot weather (;_;)

  4. A winter flowering bloom! Would'nt it be great to be an evergreen and shun the weather! Winning the lottery would help too!

  7. I'm with the Philosophic Toad on enjoying winter best…though as the age starts to seep in, I'm finding myself slightly more tolerant of warm weather. Still, one thing I'll always associate with winter is getting a Dinky toy as a holiday gift whenever a new Gerry Anderson vehicle came out, so it's no surprise if snowy weather always makes me think of happy times.

The scenario in the image brings to mind The Day After Tomorrow, and I mean that in a good way!

  8. What a great memory RAB, a Dinky Winter! I remember getting toys when I was ill as a kid - chicken pox, measles, flu - toys, toys, toys! I'll never forget getting a Zobor Zeroid in its plastic case when I was in Hospital for my appendix out in 1970!
