WHICH SONGS WOULD YOU TAKE WITH YOU ON THE NUCLEAR FERRY?

As your alotted Nuclear Ferry readies for departure from a dying Earth what music would you take with you for your new life on Mars? Here's my first one: High Flying Bird by Elton John (off Don't Shoot me I'm only the Piano Player LP 1973). Uplifting.

  1. i'd have to have the following:
    Divinyls - Divinyls
    Urban Hymns - The Verve
Song to the Siren - This Mortal Coil
Ghost in the Shell them - Kenji Kawaii
    International Velvet - Catatonia
    Aerial - Kate Bush
Tuesday Night Music Club - Sheryl Crow

  4. Maybe I'd just prefer the soothing humming of those mighty thrusters, the interplanetary lullaby... maybe Vespertine by Björk, along with some Ligeti Atmosphères...

  5. Arto, you are a philosospher amongst mere mortals. Maybe one day we'll all be lucky enough to hear Richard Bransons' mighty thrusters on Virgin Galactic 1!
