Re-Entry Re-Evaluation

Ive been looking at the Task Force series of toys and wondering about the origins for these three distinctive craft. Possibly one of the most striking of the three is the T1, with its sharp, angular wings and dynamic profile. Looking at conventional aerospace designs, I was reminded of the unusual Convair Sea Dart, a concept aircraft designed as a sea launched interceptor. Due to issues with vibration of the airframe during tests, this fantastic craft never made production.

The trim, triangular wings are very reminiscent of a space interceptor, but the very idea of a seaborne jet plane is very Century 21 in its idea! All pics are courtesy of Wikipedia.
