SOLYENT GREEN

SOLYENT GREEN is one of my favoutite films from the 1970's. Starring Sci Fi stalwart Charlton Heston as the citizen who stumbles across a terrible secret, it deals with the eternal struggle between love, loyalty, authority and death set against the backdrop of urban collapse. All still highly relevant today. Not a film to spawn any memorabilia I wouldn't have thought, it's dystopian vision, like that of Heston's other seminal film, The Omega Man, remains unique and compelling.
