RECONNAISSANCE 2 ORIGIN BY PAUL VREEDE - HELP NEEDED

Hi again Paul, I have a question I hope somebody might have an answer for. If I look at the Spacex Reconnaissance 2, then I think it bears more than a passing resemblance to the early Lockheed A-12 Blackbird. But there are differences. I initially assumed that those were intentional, to have a not too blatant copy of the Blackbird (which after all isn't a spacecraft).

But now I wonder if, similar to the Lifting Body, there might not be some spacecraft in a comic strip somewhere that's based on the Blackbird but would look like the Reconnaissance 2? Here's hoping! btw: if anybody's interested, there's a good account on the Blackbird here.

Blackbird first flew December 1964, and had been seen in public months before, so plenty of time before Spacex toy production.

Thanks--Paul
Another great piece Paul!
