WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE

Watched this excellent b/w George Pal sci-fi movie today. The rocketship is really stunning and launches on a Fireball XL5 type hillside track. The biuld-up to the actual planetary collision is very tense and the overall look reminded me of that other fantastic 50's film This Island Earth. Recommended.
