The Spacex Calendar was made for me as a surprise Christmas present. It wasn't possible to order just one, so altogether four were printed. Anyone who got one was fortunate.
And I'm the culprit who made them! I secretly scanned the postage size photos at as high a resolution as I could muster, from the back of various SpaceX and Golden Astronauts from Kim's collection, and put them together over a period of weeks in late 2006. There were a few which also used the Eric Eden illustrations from a TV21 Summer Extra, and some of the line illustrations from the SpaceX II range. Bit of a hodge-podge but it worked out very well. As 'Philosophic Toad' says, it was done as a surprise present, and only four were printed - two for me and two for 'PT'. A friend of mine produced personalised calendars, so I supplied the 12 composites and a specially jazzed-up version of the SpaceX logo which had originally been created for a SpaceX website which 'PT' had been working on.
I still have the original 12 composites and logo (and possibly some proposed but abandoned ones which may have been used for a follow-up). And if you click on my name, you can see the composite which was used to promote the one sold (my spare) on eBay last year.
It's possible I could reissue the design for 2010 but as each calendar cost quite a bit to produce I couldn't really consider it given the current economic situation unless someone else was prepared to back it financially...

This is a fabulous calendar Shaqui! Are you planning on making any more some time? A blog exclusive maybe?
