Why why why why!WOODSYhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00237005016866918414noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2156181044707591026.post-19697094713623800372020-09-13T20:38:38.296+01:002020-09-13T20:38:38.296+01:00Oh I'm sure I did! And who could visit every toy and junk store in the area all the time? I'm actually surprised I ended up saving as much as I did, although the discarding of my entire Golden Astronauts collection at tag sales in the early 1970s, probably for a penny, still makes me cringe. I also sold my UPC Ultraman models, nicely built and painted, Pegila and Pagos, for 25 cents each! What a maroon!

The coolest thing I remember passing by, and later regretting profoundly, was a large Japanese remote control SPV toy at E.J. Korvettes. On clearance, $5! Sigh...
ZigguratSF2000https://www.blogger.com/profile/04507561597742917717noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2156181044707591026.post-80252928812191730052020-09-12T10:11:05.609+01:002020-09-12T10:11:05.609+01:00Tarheel did a version of this in the US Zigg. you ...Tarheel did a version of this in the US Zigg. you may have walked past one!WOODSYhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00237005016866918414noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2156181044707591026.post-28298244640152598992020-09-10T23:59:34.423+01:002020-09-10T23:59:34.423+01:00Too beautiful for words, both the toy and the illu...Too beautiful for words, both the toy and the illustration. One of those amazing sublime toys I would have died for had I stumbled upon it at Woolworth or Kresge.
ZigguratSF2000https://www.blogger.com/profile/04507561597742917717noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2156181044707591026.post-1900732503751568622020-09-10T19:09:56.758+01:002020-09-10T19:09:56.758+01:00Alas, no.
