K-Tel was a big part of my Australian teenage years. Not only the Brush-a-Matic, but the flipping vinyl record stand, the Select-a-Matic! There was also a knife that could cut through ripe tomatoes and tin cans and a rotating cassette tape rack, but I can't remember if those were also K-Tel brand!
Some of these things are from the 60s, or even 50s, looking at them.

I always thought sewing-feet would make nice landing gear--they are made to flip down anyway
