Tracka and Racks

I've been visiting Recklinghausen Bahnhofbuchhandlung since 1979.

Many things have changed in the Ruhr town since then but the train station book shop hasn't.

Still the same calm emporium of books and magazines it always was.

Today I spotted a kid cinema MOTU comic with a free sword. I was swordly tempted but at €5.99 I left it.

There are hundreds of magazines including a huge trains rack.

Do you still buy magazines?

    2. Hi Woodster old friend! Great to be back! I was watching Jason And The Argonauts and remembered a book I had as a kid and also remembered that the book got a mention on here so I looked on the search thing and found what I was looking for...so wanted to see the front cover again! Anyway, while I was looking at it I thought I'd try a post and hey presto, it bloody worked! :) It's nice to be back!

  3. What's a magazine? I seem to remember such a thing in the distant past but my memory fails.

  5. The only magazine we get regularly now (since the demise of Cinefex) is the Fortean Times. Gotta keep up with Hunt Emerson's cartoons, Simulacra Corner, The Conspirasphere and all things Cryptid, great and small!
