Some recent acquisitions include this Red Baron model I picked up at a boot sale.
Rough and ready with fading chroming, the front wheels are missing and the Helmet's spike gone, otherwise it sort of looks the part.
No idea of it's age or make. The original Revell kit was reissued a few times.
Anyone got the Red Baron?
The original Red Baron custom car kit was made by Monogram, and designed by Tom Daniel. It was in 1/24th scale. Later there was also Big Red Baron in 1/12th scale; and a Li'l Red Baron in 1/32nd scale. Hot Wheels did a die-cast version. The Red Baron was also turned in to a life-sized custom car. It was a very popular modelling subject.
