Chute the Moon

We've featured the Space Ball on MC before.

An interesting sphere.

Like a lychee with a chute.

The chute is a classic red and white check. (Or is it cheque?) A la the SWORD Apollo Saturn.

You hurl, it unfurls.

But did it work? Do you have one?

    2. LOL Wellll Woodsy, I may not have a shelf full of cords of fabric, rolls of vintage wallpaper, or boxes of unsold long johns but there's been plenty of New Old Stock (NOS) as it's known over here. I've bought a lot of NOS over the years as evidenced by all the still mint-on-card toys in The Hoard. I think the most interesting one I have at the moment is an unopened, multi-level, tin-litho service station / gas station from the late1950s. The seller said he bought a whole bunch of them from the widow of a service station owner who used them as give-aways to customers and as promotions. I also bought the set he opened up so that he could see what was in the box. It is still unassembled.

    3. That tin service station sounds really wonderful Ed. So that's what NOS means. Ha ha. Reminds me of that abbreviation in Germany, OVP. Original Verpackung. Original Packaging!
