Just to show you the 1930's Mickey Mouse stationery published by Kuvataide.
I wonder why the title is left in English?
There are five different illustrations on the 16 sheets. Small blank envelopes are also included in the set. Single sheets have been known to exist, but I haven't found a full set mentioned in databases or elsewhere (which does not mean there would not be one somewhere).

Anyone else got anything like this?

How incredibly rare Arto, what a find. I wonder if the company released any other Mickey stuff like pens and pencils to go with the pad?
ReplyDeleteNot pens and pencils Woodsy, but Kuvataide licenced lots of early Disney merchandise like postcards and books, including a mega rare 1937 set of Six Little Mickey Mouse Books in their own slipcase. A full set including slipcase - about the size of a cigarette pack - sells for 2500 €.
ReplyDeleteGood Lord! It does sound lovely though that slipcase. Best of luck on your Mickey quests to come Arto!
DeleteThanks Woodsy! I was lucky to find the full set with slipcase a couple of years ago. You can browse the set here, along with other early Disney books like Lumikki ja 7 kääpiötä
