Hi Woodsy,
With regard to your recent post on the unusual SPV vehicle on Buyee then SFZ in the USA is correct as Marui produced this kits in several guises.
I do not have a boxed kit in blue as mine are bronze or clear/smoke and titled Mechanic No. 3. They were also named Ultra Mobile. I attach some images.
The from windscreen is not in keeping with the Captain Scarlet SPV design but rather strangely Bandai adopted this on their battery operated bump 'n' go version.
Regards
Terry

Yes, this post really shows some of the various permutations of the MARUI Ultra-Mobile, and lest we forget, there was also a release molded in Clear Plastic! SFZ
ReplyDeleteI agree. I bet the SPV is the single most mutated Anderson vehicle in the Japanese Gerry pantheon. All superb!
DeleteAmazing that the Bandai bump and Go toy has a printed tin component inside the cockpit! I also can't resist pointing out that the anime themed package features Yuki, Kodai and various spacecraft "inspired" by Space Battleship Yamato, AKA Starblazers!
