There's LP and Apollo Moon Exploring!

  1. I recall seeing this set in the mid eighties in a department store in Liverpool. I wrote to Dekkertoys and said I had the set and had lost some of the parts! They sent me replacement parts, free of charge! I got the gantry, mercury capsule, bubble car and apollo capsule. They are similar to the Moon Exploring toys, but cheaper quality copies. A nice set. Ive got the vac-form Lunar Landscape set from the same company. Bill

That is a great looking set - but how do the two Soviet MiG-21 jet fighters fit in, and why does the grey one have WW1 German national insignia on the wings ? The green one might be British ?
