I recently saw this walking toy thingy by Durham of the States and thought, hmmm. It looks familiar.
Those big hands, tufty hair and general ugliness have been seen before.
Here are the Lindberg monsters.

A bit of a shock seeing that Durham toy, as I remember writing up those Lindberg monsters. The kits comprised only two parts - front and rear half, and a tuft of coloured Monster Hair.

I remember your great post Paul. I think I first saw the Lindberg monsters in the Classic Plastic book, which I think you've got too.
