I know that regular commenters and contributors, Kevin and Lewis are kit builders so here's a few photos of the boxes of some of the old plastic kits in my collection which I'll be kit bashing to create some of the models seen in Fireball XL5, Stingray and Thunderbirds.

ReplyDeleteThe push for truth in advertising may have been responsible for photos of the actual models replacing paintings, but they never had the same allure.
Possibly it's because in a painting, you are looking into a complete world.
A built up model sitting on a lump of white paper never had the same romance!
