Treating Yourself in the Run-Up to Christmas?

Have you ever treated yourself to something this time of year? You know, with Santa gearing up and money being tight? Have you still gone ahead and got something for yourself anyway?

I'm in two minds. I collect VHS horror and I'm tempted to get one I've seen on offer. Very tempted. But that old black dog Guilt is bugging me and time is running out!

    That’s an urge I’ve had to fight many times. But when I see all my unpaid bills, and recall all of the folks around the world that have nothing, I refrain - usually! At other times, I indulge, and then suffer terrible guilt! It’s a funny phenomena. SFZ

    It is Christmas - once all the bills are paid, it is time for a treat or two. I am hoping to get out to a model shop before Christmas, and there are a few things on my shopping list.

    The California Axe Massacre or just AXE, SF. . The UK version costs an arm and a leg so I got the cheaper German version, which I'll make a UK sleeve for and be happy! Part of a rare group of 39 videos in 1980's UK known as the Nasties.

      Wow! Youve seen it at a drive-in! How cool SF. Yes, Lisa Lisa, aka AXE, number three alphabetically in the UK DPP39 list of prosecuted videos in the mid 198o's. Very collectable now and a fun great challenge to find them on Video given they all have various aliases around the world.

    For Christmas, I got something for my wife that I wanted, but she wanted even more.

    The Complete series of "Shawn the Sheep".

    (There may also be something black, lacy and filmy in her presents.)
