CROMFORD MILLS MODEL DISPLAY

A small selection of photos from last Sunday's Cromford Mill's Comic Con. I'm uploading most of them at: https://mikeburrowsphotography.co.uk/project/cromford-mills-comic-con-2025/

Models by Mamas Pitsillis.

Replica puppet figures displayed by Carl Stirling-Stewart

The new Battlestar Galactica was well represented.

Models displayed by Tony B.

Large Viper Mk II built by Richard Ashton.

Special guest, Hattie Hayridge,

Fabulous Bumblebee cosplay.

I was impressed with Chris Bexton here, and his cosplay choice of the iconic traffic warden from 'Threads'

A re-imagined SHADO Mobile, built by Brian Jones, and displayed by Doug Stirling Stewart.

Braman the robot, Lady Penelope as Wanda Lamour, and Jeff Tracy in disguise, all displayed by Lee Allwood.

The original prop Pilot Ship in front of one of the Nuclear Domes as seen in ''The Bringers of Wonder', Space:1999 episode.

Below: Replica puppet figures displayed by David Sisson.

Finally, the goodies on the Fanderson table.

  1. Have been to previous events but didn’t attend this one. Really like the updated SHADO mobile - it’s stunning

    1. I remember meeting up with you, Dave. The re-imagined SHADO Mobile made by brilliant modeller, Brian Jones, has so much detail. Inside the cockpit, which is difficult to see clearly has lights and a central TV monitor. I did take a photo which doesn't show as much as I'd like. I'll maybe add it to the post later.

    1. They had around 900 pre-sold tickets on the day, along with plenty of tickets being sold on the day. These events are Incredibly popular, Woodsy.

  3. Looks like a great show.
Wish I'd been able to visit, but did have a good time with my family in Shipley instead.
