I noticed this recently online and something I've not seen before; the original inner packaging card rings on the Century 21 Toys Project SWORD Scramble bug.
The 3 card shapes protect all the delicate parts at the top of the toy below the lid whilst it's being stored in it's box.

Do you have any toys' original inner packaging like this?
My Scramble Bug should have the inserts still in place. It's stored away at the moment, but checked my logs. Bought it from Jenny back in 2007.
