  1. Nice! BSG was popular with SF fans back in the day, lots of buzz at the conventions. I remember filk singer Julia Ecklar did some relevant songs, too. Starlog, lots of nostalgia there. There was a very cute girl I went to high school with at the time who was dating this guy who worked at Starlog. He drove a Corvette, meaning I in my Mustang had zero chance with her. Wonder whatever happened to her? As I heard Rick Springfield say once, "Jesse's girl would be sixty years old now, so..."

    1. Yes, it was a big deal at the Cons I went too.It appealed to a lot of people like me who weren't into Star Wars. It's quite cultish nowadays.
If it's done nothing else, Baron, it's brought back a few memories for you.

  2. Awesome! I really enjoyed the first iteration of Galactica. I can remember visiting Universal Studios in 1980 when Battlestar Galactica was a feature one saw as you rode the tram through the studio lot.

    1. You lucky guy, Ed, we are of the same mind. It must have been great to go to Universal Studios at that time.
