In the summer heat we visited a cool salvage yard in Hornsea last week.
There were cars.
Boxed toys and games.
Mr. Muscle is new to me!
It's those big dolls again!
A FROG buccaneer
We also visited this beach .... And survived!
And then a stop in Beverley, is that Caroline Munro on the LP cover?
Three big ships in dry dock.
Anything of interest readers?
Sprats patent dog cakes? I'm not sure I want to know.
ReplyDeleteHa ha, I bet some were scoffed by people by mistake!
DeleteIn my road rallying days we saw a sign on the course that read "Caution this road bisects a USAF bomb target range. Dangerous objects may fall from aircraft". Somewhere I have a photo of my navigator and the car under that sign.
ReplyDeleteHa ha, great sign! Where did you rally? If you find the sign email me a pic!
DeleteAnything of interest ...
ReplyDeleteYes, Caroline Munro !!!
Doh! Of course Mish! I wonder if she remembers doing it?
DeleteWhat strikes me is that the suppliers of the archery equipment and Ms Munro's boots get a credit on the LP cover, but not the musicians who played the music. Bizarre.

Some nice stuff there Woodsy. I used to have that Star Bird Command Base but sold it off a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteI looked inside Ed. It seemed to be made of card. Is that right?
Deleteits mostly cardboard, but there are s few plaxtic parts including a small buggy and a couple of gun turrets Bill
DeleteBill is correct. The cardboard though is of the nice heavy variety. I believe there were also plastic figures included but my set was missing those.
DeleteI like that Tizer tin sign!
ReplyDeleteMe too. I also liked the Choppers on the office roof Looey!
