I have the ready made version of that kit Scoop. It was on display on a bookshelf in our dining room. Our cleaner dusted it and snapped the periscopes off from the conning tower !
I had a similar antenna loss to my Aurora Moonbus 50 years ago! A while back, I bought the the built-up Moebius re-cast and blow me! The same thing happened all over again!
I have to admit , I've caught one of the many antennae on my MPC Cygnus, it's hard not too.. Thankfully the one I broke off is now back in place.. I'll post a couple of photos of my Rocket Moonbus later, which (for now) still retains it's antenna.
Lovely models and pics Scoop. The illuminated window looks great in the blue setting. The shells are a nice touch.
ReplyDeleteI do like to a light a model if I can. It does help to bring it to life.
