MORE SPACE 8

 


Moonbase likes a bit of Space 8 and you can't keep a a good set down so here's a few more from Tomy's 1971 toy catalogue.

I really like the big job the grateful kid has in his mitts. Is that one compatible with Major Matt Mason figures?

I wonder why they chose 8 as part of the name?

    All the toys shown have eight wheels, so that would be my guess, but this is not a range I know so not sure if that applies to all the toys ?

    yes - its the wheel thing! Ive got the big version, it was also used as the basis of the Sears Moon Rover with the min Major Matt in it.
