And, even then, you'd probably have to look twice to spot them. I just got the Elite versions because they were issued first and I couldn't wait.Kidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07224781868125924337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2156181044707591026.post-19832199706867818702017-01-04T21:53:08.033+00:002017-01-04T21:53:08.033+00:00I love it too, Kid. I've seen the elite versions a few times, and would welcome one (I've no idea how many versions there are now as they seem to bring out a better one every other week ;D)
Although they are nice and would look nice in my display cabinet, I'm not prepared to pay the much higher price. I reckon my version here with the figures might not be as all singin'an' dancin', but I think it's the best value for the money.

Rest assured though, Kid, you ain't heard the last of me spouting off about the Batmobile :D SCOOPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17481423869059986451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2156181044707591026.post-74480270198012058512017-01-04T21:31:54.980+00:002017-01-04T21:31:54.980+00:00Ah, I just noticed yours has the plastic radar sca...Ah, I just noticed yours has the plastic radar scanner - mine is the Elite version with the metal scanner, as are the other two (which don't have the figures). I've also got the Mattel one in a similar scale to the Corgi version, plus a few others. Just can't help myself - I'm fascinated with the car. The Polar Lights snap-together plastic version (with pre-painted figures) is also a belter. If you type 'Batmobile' in the search box on my blog, it should show you a few different examples.Kidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07224781868125924337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2156181044707591026.post-13111426693335932072017-01-04T17:26:47.474+00:002017-01-04T17:26:47.474+00:00I've no doubt there's always better versio...I've no doubt there's always better versions, Mike. Hotwheels do elite versions with incredible amounts of detail which are indeed silly money. The one I've got, which I wanted because it had the figures cost just over fifty quid. The same one without the figures are usually a little cheaper. Both are worth the money as far as I'm concerned. I normally save me spare change for the Product Enterprise Anderson vehicles but this has me thinking seriously about expanding my collecting net. As a non-afficianado I'd love to know if this is considered the best example of the batmobile - without getting into silly money (so say below £100) - I know there are other versions but the larger scale makes this one much more appealing somehow. Thinking about it I've got quite a few examples myself, tucked away. I got a 1:25 scale Hotwheels a couple of years back , which is the same size as one of the Polar Lights Batmobiles kit's I've been building. But all those have been overshadowed by this 1:18 scale version.SCOOPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17481423869059986451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2156181044707591026.post-44206293366216096322017-01-03T18:50:18.797+00:002017-01-03T18:50:18.797+00:00I love the 1966 Batmobile.
