I wonder how long the riveted one was out before Dinky replaced the rivets with screws?SCOOPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17481423869059986451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2156181044707591026.post-55037247454113062032016-08-24T22:44:55.982+01:002016-08-24T22:44:55.982+01:00There was also a metallic blue version of the firs...There was also a metallic blue version of the first model. I know 'cos I've got one. I've got two green smaller models (one with rivets, the other with screws), one metallic blue smaller model (with screws), and one larger metallic blue one (with metal base). A great toy, but not exactly a faithful reproduction of the TV TB2.Kidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07224781868125924337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2156181044707591026.post-52763554778432629942016-08-24T04:31:35.706+01:002016-08-24T04:31:35.706+01:00Sounds intriguing Lance, using a time bomb in the ...Sounds intriguing Lance, using a time bomb in the pod, the hood would be proud of you. ;DSCOOPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17481423869059986451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2156181044707591026.post-56765863442102869992016-08-24T02:14:12.201+01:002016-08-24T02:14:12.201+01:00I never saw the green version here in the states. ...I never saw the green version here in the states. I got the blue one but had no idea it was larger. Blue with yellow legs. Loved the TB4 in the pod and I also would put the timebomb from the early GI Joe Adventure Team set Demolition. It looked like some sort of truck and fit into the pod really well, even with TB4 in there. I adored the way the legs sprung down and the pod slipped out when pushed, two of the most satisfying toy experiences of the decade!
