From that point on there was a thick wooden bar across the middle of the door to stop any more bikes going through it! And those LP's, I hadn't realised you had any in the lounge. Yes, lots of soul in there. As for photo's, I think there are more than we realise. I have a box full and I bet our Sibs have some. They just need sorting and scanning!WOODSYhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13456645970983569001noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2156181044707591026.post-57186540614992782032015-07-12T14:03:13.622+01:002015-07-12T14:03:13.622+01:00For some reason I can't download 'the gard...For some reason I can't download 'the garden' which is a shame.Renehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16278625540356610587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2156181044707591026.post-29270002418623542352015-07-12T14:02:00.489+01:002015-07-12T14:02:00.489+01:00We all took over the lounge as we moved into our t...We all took over the lounge as we moved into our teens. I remember lads coming round, unknown to Cliff and Flo, who as you say were usually ensconced in the telly room. You didn't mention the snooker table. But that came before the table tennis. Do you remember smashing the glass door? We didn't know at the time that you were the culprit but anyway, it wasn't the first time a door was reduced to shards of glass. There are some photos somewhere of us all in front of the christmas tree. We didn't take photos mush in those days did we? I still don't.<br />I've a feeling that some of the albums you mention were mine and Stephen Dudley's. Kev Livesey said that he remembers SD teaching them to dance and I think that would've been to soul music. No photos of the room? This post wouldn't have been out of place on my blog. Great stuff. (Your post, not my blog - although that's sometimes pretty good, too.)Kidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07224781868125924337noreply@blogger.com
