FRANK MAY'S HUGE SCRATCHBUILT SPACEX MODELS

With Kevin D's breathtaking scratchbuilds continuing to amaze us, I thought I'd re-post some pictures of a similarly talented modeller, Frank May, which appeared about two years ago on the blog. Franks's large scale builds, in particular his Spacex projects, are stunning and will thrill new readers of the blog. You can read how Frank made these models in a previous post from 2010. I really do love Frank's huge Spacex vehicles. Hope you like 'em too!

Glad to see a refresher on these, thank you. Love everything about these and I'm a particular fan of that 'orbital space station'. Collection-display, exceptional model skills, unique dedication...it's all there.

Very, very impressive. I would hate do those large wheels on the MEV2, wonder how he did it?
I keep getting tempted to build a large Spacex or Project Sword vehicle.

the mev wheels are simply desktop fan blades! Frank picked them up at a stationary store cheap. Made for purpose! Id love to see a large scale Moon Prospector (sword genre). Any takers ?
