FAVE 1

What's your favourite thing of all time? It could be toy, a record, a film. It could even be a song, a memory or a holiday! It might even be the future! Whatever you like!

You said anything, so my fav thing is the ability to read. And I thank those teachers who spent hours teaching this (then) dull-witted child to do so. (Sorry I can't recall the name of a single one of you *sighs*)

Sitting in a cinema, waiting for a movie to begin, lights low, sound system silently humming. A door to all worlds possible.

Tempted to go global like P.Toad, but apart from my partner, I think it would be the town I now live in, which being a little behind the times (in the opinion of some) means that it still has some of the things I remember (and still enjoy) from my youth.

Having posted the question Woodsy, don't think you can get out of giving a comment, too!

I liked reading these, well said! This blog is like an archeology of childhood & what seemed like simpler times to me. Epic battle & adventure scenes created with toys right on my old bed = my fave memories. (kinda wish I'd known to celebrate the last one, whenever that day was...I would have said a toast!)

Having posted this, I find it really hard to say what my favourite 'thing' is. Aside from being with my family, my fave thing at the mo is finishing work on Friday at 3pm, watching a sci-fi movie as soon as I get home, ordering a curry and generally slobbing out!

This is a toughie. I would say 'TOYS'! Any and all; Plastic, metal, short and tall. Give me a toy to pass the time, and this big 'little' boy is in his prime!!
