WOW! What a LOT of cool stuff the past couple of days! If a certain toy gets delivered this week I hope to do a blog on my (v-e-r-y tenuos) connection to Apollo 13 which splashed down 42 yrs ago yesterday.

Already enjoying your coverage of these tiny-shiny beauties and now pretty much hypnotized by those diorama window boxes. Great/atmospheric artwork on those backdrops all tied together by those bits of alien terrain. I know for certain that shag carpet, our family vacume-cleaner and the bathtub drain swallowed some of my Golden Astronauts.

I agree with CS, I love those diorama window boxes. Really set the toys up and a great aid to a kids imagination.

i reckon the third set down with 'mike' watermarked across is, isnt a real set. the orange missile is a cap bomb that looks like its been hastily inserted into the set and the red scooter on the bottom is a lucky bag toy made of soft plastic, they used to be be made with a smll mini sub with the same small diver seated on them too. i think these toys have been put in to make it look like a full set.
