Great pics CS and thanks for sharing. Daleks are now icons - like Thunderbird 2 or Star Trek's Enterprise. Although they are very mechanical I never think of them as robots like say the way I do about GORT in The Day The Earth Stood Still. I suppose it's because the croaky voices hint at the alien beings sat inside steering. So Daleks are really cars!
Thank YOU Woodsy & Wotan for posting these; is an honor to share here on my fave blog. Yes I sometimes forget that the Dalek we see, is a 'car'...not robot, not even cyborg...just a kind of car for it's mutant tentacled driver, the true Dalek creature inside.
