I have 5 of these albums listed here but I'll only answer one this time.
Wishbone Ash's Argus (Bottom left). ;O}

I could have picked the Osibisa's Woyaya album cover but I'll stick to the Wishbone Ash cover. 8O)

I'd be shocked if there was anyone who didn't know the album in the upper right corner. It is of course the soundtrack album from 2001: A Space Odyssey, as performed by Shepherd's Bush trad blues combo The High Numbers.

hee hee, very funny Richard, nice one. Also known as Who's Next by the Who. Wonder where that monolith actually was?

And Warren's on the ball again with Argus, one of my top five albums of all time, which includes Throw Down Your Sword [and you somehow got Osibisa's Woyowa in with a Jedi Mind Trick! Beautiful cover art by the master himself, Roger Dean]

Actually I have the album. I'm a huge fan of 70's Prog. Gentle Giant, King Crimson, PFM, Camel, Grobschnitt etc.
Although Osibisa is more of a jazz prog funk sort of thing. Love the Argus album as well.

The Who's Next monolith was in Easington Colliery in County Durham:

If I recall the story correctly, the band and photographer passed this sticking out of a slag heap while they were on their way elsewhere and pulled for some spontaneous shots.
