Earlier I posted a cool toy Gotham Express train featured on Ebay by mr.chevelle1963 as pictured below. Readers Paul and Anonymous helped with information [thanks all] and informed me that it's based on a real vintage train called the GM Aerotrain aka Disneyland's Viewliner as pictured in black and white below the toy.
It has a hint of the Lady Penelope Comic Gruber Moon Bus as seen below and the feel of later Shigeru Kamatsuzaki concepts to it [second and third below]. Wonderful !

I do enjoy any opportunity to view Komatsuzaki's great art. I must admit to not being familiar with the Disney Viewliner. Was it some precursor to the Disney Monorial?

Thank you Philatodia. What's sad is that had I been bothered to click on the link for Viewliner I could have answered my own question and appeared less oblivious in the process.
