More Hover Bovver

I recently blogged the range of toys known as Non-fall Moon Rovers, a series of small buggy like toys that turn over automatically when thy hit an obstacle thanks to a roll bar and large wheels. These toys are not affiliated with any specific programme or series and were just another toy to catch the zeitgeist of the space age. However, there does appear to be a more direct connection to the SWORD cadre than I thought, as one recently appeared on ebay complete with box which was branded by the company that produced a lot of rebadged Sword toys, Hover. Its also interesting to note that the particular model that is shown is the one which seems to re-use the switch element from the back of the Space Glider. I'm unsure if this Hover version is another re-badge by this company of an earlier moulding, but its interesting to see nonetheless.
