The flower motif on this vintage plastic Beach Buggy [Ebay] appeared on a number of Sixties toys including the rear of the Day-f-ran SPACE GLIDER shown below. Anyone know of any more? Where is the motif from? Sixties' Hippydom?

Like, man, it's the symbol of Flower Power, yeah? Non-violence and counterculture. You had to ask that? Like, far out, man. Violence is like, such a drag. Hang loose and be groovy, Woodstock, baby, and wear that flower in your hair
Gotta peace out now man, ya dig?
Oh man, you used to see this kind of thing everywhere, and I do mean everywhere, back in the day:

I think of that as a groovy mod mid-Sixties pattern rather than any hippie Woodstock acid-trip scene, if you can dig the difference. But by the mid-Seventies, it had all disappeared. I can't figure out where the design originally came from.
Another use of a similar stylized daisy image is from The Dating Game, dating back to 1965:

I associate mod more with the lambretta red and blue circles made famous by the Who.
